We built a voice agent on Twilio + Anthropic that answers within two rings, asks qualifying questions configured per business, and books directly into the owner's calendar via Cal.com. Urgent calls route live. All others get a summary SMS within 30 seconds of hang-up. Supabase stores call transcripts and lead scores.

The hardest part was making the agent sound unhurried. Early versions answered too fast and talked too much. The final version pauses naturally, asks one question at a time, and knows when to stop selling and just book the slot.
